The Rollmax Roller Drill with air seeder is for the serious operator wanting economy of scale and large output. From 4.3 metres up to 9.3m with a transport width of 2.5m, this complete roller drill delivers excellent result.

Market-leading strength is built into every Rollmax, with the largest roller axle on the market, large 620mm rings, twin-beam drawbars, HD 150mm x 100mm box sections, and double-reinforced pivot points.

Centre-pivot folding wings provide excellent contour following across undulating ground, while keeping loads balanced for a stronger, more resilient machine. With very few grease points on each wing, ongoing maintenance is fast, simple and field-friendly.

The result is a more resilient roller capable of taking a greater load, working faster and into tougher ground without the risk of snapping axles.

The airseeder itself is a fine seeder suited for metering every type of seed, from Swedes right through to grain, at rates from 0.5kg/Ha up to 250kg/Ha. FarmChief Rollmax Folding Cultivation Roller

70mm Axle

At the heart of the Rollmax’s performance is the market leading 70mm HD breaker ring axle. Subject to the most stress, smaller axles are prone to breaking, leaving you with a big maintenance job and less time to get the work done. At 70mm, the Rollmax's axle is the largest on the market, adding extra weight and stiffness to the implement, while reducing the risk of snapping and allowing you to work faster in more challenging ground. Their strength removes the need for a centre bearing on each wing, meaning better coverage, fewer moving parts to break, and fewer parts requiring maintenance.

150 x 100mm Twin Beam Drawbar

The ultra-engineered 150 x 100mm twin beam drawbar and chassis extends through the entire length of the machine, supporting the weight of the HD wings and large rings. Designed to help the Rollmax to work harder in tougher conditions whilst doing it faster, the twin beam drawbar also increases the stability of the roller while folding the wings.

620mm Cambridge & Breaker Rings

Backed with a six-year warranty, these large, five-spoke webbed rings have been chosen for their strength and performance across all New Zealand conditions. They are scalloped to prevent capping, and the independent breaker rings keep the implement from blocking in wet and sticky conditions

Dual Pivoting Wings

Designed to optimise and maintain ground contact, the Rollmax features dual pivoting wings. Each wing pivots in the middle of the roller (as other standard rollers do), with the additional pivot point in the centre of each wing. This maintains even ground pressure and elminates bouncing, providing a dynamic, fluid movement through contours, while also being able to work faster.

Hydraulic Levelling Paddles

An optional extra but a common addition to the majority of FarmChief rollers is the hydraulic front levelling paddles, perfect for dealing with larger clods and smoothing uneven ground, whilst reducing the passes needed to nail the finish.

Dual ram control

Each section features dual hydraulic ram control and specifically designed, wide, hard-wearing springs to keep up with the tough work of the roller. The dual rams are twice as effective at carrying the soil as single-ram models, producing more consistent, level finish.

Hydraulic sync

Every section of paddles is synchronised so all sections work together as one and produce a consistent finish across the width of the roller.

Incremental ram sizes

Notably, the hydraulic rams feature an incremental size increase as they move further away from the frame. This maintains even oil pressure and control across the full width of the machine for a consistent finish.

Intense Four Row Chain Harrows

Providing a balanced combination of intense working rates and delicate tilth handling, the FarmChief Intense Four Row Chain Harrows are an excellent choice for producing a fine finish and spreading a fine tilth of residue to cover the entire seedbed.

Larger and longer than other chain harrow solutions on the market, the Intense Chain Harrows round out the premium solution offered by the Rollmax Roller Drill.

Specialised VCR Contour Following Technology

More contact with the soil means a better finish and a greater strike for optimum crops

Adding to Rollmax’s credibility as a high-performance implement is the addition of VCR Contour Following Technology. By adding an additional cushion of air to the free-floating hydraulic rams of each wing, the operator can adjust the downward pressure each wing exerts on the ground.

Rather than relying purely on the (significant) weight of the roller, greater control of the finish can be achieved.

Radar Groundspeed Monitoring

Wheel monitoring can result in slipping and can be inaccurate on varying ground, meaning false readings and poor dosing. The SeedProfi airseeder uses a radar groundspeed sensor hooked directly into the tractor 7-pin plug to monitor real-time, actual ground speed. Optionally, a radar can be mounted on the implement itself. Whether you're climbing a hills in Southland or cruising Canterbury flats, your seeding rate stays locked in.

SeedProfi Monitor

The SeedProfi monitor delivers complete control straight to the cab. Featuring a 5-inch colour display, the operator can monitor seeding rates, ground speed, fan status and receive warnings in real time. Calibration is simple as pressing a button and takes only five minutes. It's so simple anyone can run it!

High Performing Delivery

Designed to be the most versatile roller drill out there, the Rollmax Integra can also be use purely as a roller, with or without the paddles or harrows, making it your one stop machine for finishing cultivation and roller drilling.

Level

An excellent option for every cultivation roller, the hydraulic front levelling paddles knock down clods and ridges, fill hollows and levels out the primary cultivation residue ahead of the pressing and firming action of the roller rings. Notably, the FarmChief levelling paddles have staggered hydraulic ram sizes to make sure the pressure is even across the machine and the operator has complete, accurate control of the result.

Sow

Place seed deliberately and directly in front of the covering chain harrows and behind the levelling paddles for excellent seed-to-soil contact. The straight 12-outlet hydraulically driven airseeder with SeedProfi monitoring technology ensures a consistent distribution of seed across the full width of the roller.

Harrow

An excellent choice for covering the seed, producing a fine finish and spreading residue to cover the entire seedbed, while breaking down clods and feathering out the paddle marks. Used in conjunction with the airseeder and front paddles, the chain harrows round out the premium solution offered by the Rollmax Integra Roller Drill.

Roll

The large 620mm roller rings (with a 6 year warranty) combined with the largest roller axle on the market (70mm) and the weight of the heavy-duty chassis press the fine seed into the ground to ensure a fast and even strike for excellent crop health.
