Features and Benefits

European manufacturers don’t scrimp on quality – something we’ve noticed!

These slurry tankers are high-spec and double galvanized for a long life and optimum performance in New Zealand’s sometimes challenging conditions. (And, the second coat keeps it looking good too!)

To get your hands on it, we went all the way to Europe. And we brought the best back. Other brands of tankers might let you down. Like you, we’ve seen axles that have given way, drawbar and chassis cracking and collapsing on other tankers, and welding repairs all over the place. Not on this one. Ever. That’s thanks to sprung axles and drawbars, and everything engineered to within an inch of its life. It’s also hard to go past the advantages of rear-wheel steer – gates don’t get clipped and they’re exceptionally manoeuvrable. The over-size tyres mean there’s low ground pressure, no scuffing and less compaction. They’re also better in the wet and easier to pull. Which saves you fuel.

Testimonials

Helen’s view

The Lincoln University Research Dairy farm is made up of around 56 hectares of Paparua sandy loam soils and runs 200 Friesian x Jersey cows.

Manager Helen Hague says a major challenge for the farm, when it comes to spreading effluent, is the relatively small paddocks, some just .5 of a hectare.

That’s where the Envirospread 5000ltr Single Axle Slurry Tanker comes in.

A tight turning circle, (they’re exceptionably manoeuvrable) means gates don’t get clipped and there’s still consistent coverage.

Depending on weather conditions, and research commitments, the tanker is sometimes used every day of the week.

“It does what we need it to do,” Helen says. “It’s cost effective, flexible, and we’re happy with it.”
