The Role:

We are searching for an experienced and safe delivery operator with a Class 5 truck and trailer licence. Experience with agriculture machinery, driving tractors, a mechanical aptitude and farming knowledge would be highly advantageous.

The primary focus of this role is to deliver agriculture machinery to customers, on farms. The role also involves setting up the machines and performing on-farm demonstrations.  As such, mechanical experience is required, and agriculture experience is desired.

The role is based in Invercargill; however, the role will frequently take you throughout Southland, Otago and occasionally into Canterbury by agreement.

You will be working closely with a variety of team members and customers, so communication and teamwork are key skills to be able to demonstrate.

It is expected that complete and proper record keeping will be maintained to standard, including job sheets and timesheets.

While this is a full-time role, Mon-Fri, we are a seasonal business. This means you may be required to work extra hours or perform other tasks when work is busy or quiet. These tasks may include maintenance of company vehicles, cleaning and preparing used machinery for resale, assembling new machinery, and maintaining the yard.

Key points the applicant should fulfil:


  • Class 5 truck and trailer licence
  • Hiab experience lifting and moving heavy and awkward machinery
  • Forklift Licence
  • Experience driving tractors

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Fit and healthy, and able to undertake a physical role
  • Willing and able to go the extra mile for customers and teammates
