Farmchief Machinery Ltd is looking for a Service Technician extraordinaire to join our hard-working and fun-loving team at our Invercargill branch.
While we do have lots of fun, we work hard too. The primary responsibility of this role is to support customers by keeping a wide range of agricultural machinery in working order. This involves working with electrics, electronics, and hydraulics, and it requires adaptability to handle various types of machinery and systems.
The boring stuff (but kind of important):
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or a similar role.
- Trade certificate in a relevant field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Confidence in working with electrics, electronics, and hydraulics.
- Ability to adapt to unfamiliar machinery and systems.
- Desire to learn and willingness to take on new information.
- Willingness to step out of your comfort zone and contribute positively to the workplace.
- High level of motivation and a strong work ethic.
- Customer-focused and professional attitude at all times.
- Honesty & reliability are highly regarded.
