Fitted with independently rotating blades that slice vertically into the soil, the RollSpike Aerator opens fissures up to 20cm deep. These vertical fractures improve drainage, promote healthier root growth, and allow nutrients and oxygen to reach deeper into the profile, encouraging stronger, more resilient pasture.

Ideal for autumn work where dry soil conditions allow for optimum cracking, developing greater drainage to help reduce the effects of winter grazing and weather.

The RollSpike Folding Aerator has been custom-designed by FarmChief Machinery to deliver excellent soil aeration more efficiently, driving down the input costs required to promote performance of pasture and crops.

High-Tensile Steel Axle

The hardest working part of the RollSpike; the high- tensile steel axle supports the blade hubs, absorbing the load through uneven ground and high-resistance soil. Designed specifically to reduce maintenance and downtime and to improve the working speed for those who demand efficiency.

Adjustable Gang Angle

The adjustable working angle of each gang lets the operator adapt the Rollspike to the conditions of the paddock for a more refined finish. A larger working angle produces a more aggressive fracturing action good for alleviating heavy pugging. A shallower angle is better for work in dry autumn conditions ahead of effluent application and wetter months.

Modular Folding Frame

The modular folding frame and rear transport wheels of the RollSpike gives the operator the convenience of a narrow roller for transport and combines it with the productivity gains and input savings of using a wider implement. Its balanced weight distribution reduces the twisting forces on the frame and the strain on the tractor.

Integrated Ballast Weight frame

The integrated ballast weight frame gives the operator complete control over soil penetration depths when working different soil types. Maximise the effectiveness of the aerator without the added expense and complexity of hydraulic control. Ideal for heavy-going clay or in dry, late-summer ground.
