Features and Benefits

With an astonishingly high work-rate and low HP requirement, these ploughs make a massive difference to your job, while creating the ideal ploughed bed in any conditions whether, rocky, trashy or out of crop. As we’ve mentioned, (when talking about the mounted ploughs), these well-designed implement’s innovative features are bringing serious science to an art form that has helped feed people down the centuries. And, we reckon, will continue to do so for generations to come. The big wagon ploughs have a strong swivel in the middle which keeps them at a constant depth, and ensures even ground contact even in undulating ground. The wheel means when reversing on the headlands it’s possible to steer it to get the plough positioned correctly. And, across the range you’ll find something for every paddock and every cultivation process. The results would’ve made your grandfather (or great-grandfather) very proud. Designed for tractors from 180 up to 370 hp; no matter what the conditions, these deliver serious class.

Testimonials

Scott's View

Scott Croft farms 250 ha of crops, 650 Perendale sheep, and Angus cattle in heavy country at Lakeside, Canterbury. His crops include wheat, barley and grass-seed, Watties peas, and radishes.
Scott says his previous plough was simply getting a bit old for the task of turning over more than 80ha a year.
A fan of ploughing; “It’s a good way of breaking up the ground here, especially where there’s a bit of compaction”, Scott says he got his 5 furrow Agrolux from FarmChief for a demo to see what it could do. “It ended up staying here.”.
Scott says he’s had no problems with the plough and it has proved its worth, burying stubble and crop residue and giving a clean finish.
