Top-of-the-range, high-performance rollers designed for farmers and contractors looking to extend their rolling capacity whilst increasing performance and versatility at the same time.

Their highly-engineered, thoughtful design eliminates the pain points of past generations of rollers, resulting in a hard-working, results-driven implement that will deliver results long into the future.

FarmChief - Rollmot with Airseeder cultivator | Cultivation Rollers | FarmChief

High-yielding, successful crops are the goal for farmers and contractors, year in and year out and crucial to these outcomes is a level seedbed with a fine tilth, set up for sowing or drilling. This means every operator needs to be able to call upon a high-performance, reliable implement to get the job done.

The FarmChief Rollmax Folding Cultivation Roller is just that machine. It has been specifically designed to deliver the optimum seed-to-soil contact, a fine, fresh-level tilth and a compact seedbed time and time again in New Zealand conditions.

The standout in performance is our market-leading, heavy-duty 70mm breaker ring axle. This is the crux of the roller and stands above any other options currently on the market. Enjoy less cracking or warping, less time in the garage, and a harder working machine. With a select range of outstanding 620mm breaker rings (all with a five-year warranty), you’re sure to get the job done right, every time.

The twin-bar, chassis is built from high-gauge steel tubing, features ultra-engineered and double-reinforced pivot points, and requires little-to-no ongoing maintenance, each wing features very few grease points, allowing fast and simple maintenance in the field.

The FarmChief Rollmax range offers folding rollers up to 10.5m wide, making for an incredibly efficient machine. Despite this, you do not need to compromise on transport width: each Rollmax has a transport width of only 2.5m, perfect for even the narrowest gate or track. You’ll enjoy not needing a guide vehicle when on the road and extend the life of your roller by conveniently storing it in a shed.

Made with the varied NZ conditions in mind, FarmChief folding rollers utilise centre-pivot wings to not only deliver superb contour following in undulating terrain, but they benefit from the strength and resilience being balanced in the middle of the wing, resulting in a stronger machine.

What’s more, the FarmChief range of rollers works wider than other rollers, with smaller, inset outer bearings allowing the rings to work right up to the fence line, giving you more bang for the buck in the working area.

    Dynamic Centre Pivot Wings

Thoughtfully designed with the end user in mind, the FarmChief Foling Rollers have features that make them easy to use and maintain.

The dual hydraulic sync valves allow both wings to open simultaneously, maintaining the balance of the implement, reducing the twisting on the chassis and improving its stability on uneven ground.

Enjoy expert contour following thanks to the dynamic centre pivot wings, following uneven ground and producing a consistent finish. Being centre-pivoting, the pivot points are highly reinforced, making for more resilient wing.

Additionally, the Rollmax has easy-access greasable pivot points for simple maintenance while in the field.

    Hydraulic Rear Transport Wheels

Coming with hydraulic rear transport wheels as standard, the Rollmax is the contractor’s dream, making it simple to tow and ideal for transport while maintaining the life of the roller rings. Its narrow transport width of all FarmChief Folding Rollers (2.5m) means they are a convenient choice for those moving between multiple locations.

    Hydraulic Front Levelling Paddles

An optional extra but a common addition to the majority of FarmChief rollers is the hydraulic front levelling paddles. With dual hydraulic ram control and specifically designed wide, hard-wearing springs to keep up with the tough work of the roller, these turn the simple roller into a cultivation tool in its own right; perfect for dealing with larger clods and smoothing uneven ground.

    Testimonials

    Philip's View

Phillip, Michelle and Sam Bell farm 900 hectares, running sheep, beef cattle and deer on medium to rolling hill country in North Loburn, Canterbury. Phillip says the mostly-clay base soils can get very wet and, when there’s an opportunity to cultivate, it needs to be seized-upon.

Phillip has been working with Grant and the team at FarmChief for over 15 years and says they were his first port of call. “You always get good advice.” He trialed a Rollmot which, in addition to being easy to transport took him from a 3 metre pass to 6 metres, increasing efficiency.  READ MORE

    Graeme's View

Graeme Burnett has a 300ha milking platform and 250ha run-off on flat to rolling country at Dacre on the Southland Plains between Invercargill and Edendale.

“The accuracy of the seeder is unbelievable so far in everything I’ve done – right down to a cupful of seed. And it’s easy to calibrate.”

He also had high praise for FarmChief’s service. “The back-up is brilliant, and the help in setting it up.”  READ MORE
