FarmChief’s offset discs & cultivating discs cut through the soil, and the competition. Heavy, hardy and delivering a good weight per blade, they’ll go where no plough can. Crop residue can be incorporated and the ground effectively opened up to the air. Even in snow tussock, this hard-worker can be backed to do a good job. Adjustable from the tractor seat, this makes tough-going easy and is great for undulating ground. The finish is level and it’s quicker than ploughing, getting you back into production faster. With sizes varying from 2.7m up to 6m (available on request) they have the range to cover all your requirements. What makes it low maintenance is square, high tensile disc axles on heavy duty triple sealed roller bearings, making these discs a walk in the park. Currently, we have well over 200 units operating in some of New Zealand’s toughest country.
